3M capital, Inc sent a letter claiming I have won a sweepstakes for $180, 000. They enclosed a cashier's check for $4591.93 which would be deducted from my winnings. All I had to do was cash the check and send $3500 for sucharges/govt tax due on the winning. The scam is that the cashiers check woulkd take 4 to 6 weeks to bounce and they will already have their $3500. I would never receive anything else! The contact person was listed as Randy Wilter at 1-416-834-7313. The letter is signed by Karen W Montesinos, client care manager.
