Dont cash this check, burn it

I received a letter from Asset Financial Services.
Inside was a check for $3, 800.00. It informed me that
I had won $38, 000.00 US dollars from Shoppers Lotto Consumers Reward Prize.

To receive my winnings I was given a claim number and told to cash and deposit the money into my local Bank account. I was then to call when the check cleared and the rest of the money would be sent by Fed-Ex, in the form of a certified check.

I just didn't think this was legitimate.

I did some investigating and found out I was right.

Needless to say I did not cash the check.
