Scam Seminar - pay to be sold!!! That's right - they expect you to pay them to advertise and promote their expensive program. However, watch the TV ad - that's not what they say. You attend the free seminar at which they sell you the week-end seminar. So naturally, you think you will learn something at the paid week-end seminar. NOT SO! You pay them to sell to you!!!
Whitney Canada Inc. sells its seminar as a way to make money in real estate. They claim they know the "tricks" because Russ Whitney has made his fortune in real estate. They advertise on TV and tell you they'll show you how to make money in real estate - it's not a get rich quick scheme for attendees - but it is for Russ Whitney - get's rich providing a free seminar at a high-priced hotel, sells a seminar for $2, 000 for 2 1/2 days.
This is what you really pay $2, 000 for: for them to sell you the real program that they charge thousands and thousands of dollars and will be required to travel to Florida to attend at your own expense!
The program starts out well, they give you "teasers", however, it starts to deteriorate after the first few hours as they start their sales campaign. In the end, you have nothing you can use - no forms, no process, nothing - not even for the simplest real estate idea.
When they are asked for the forms, they tell you that the forms are so complicated that they simply do not have the time to show you in the time you sit there Friday night, Saturday and Sunday all day.
By Saturday, you're starting to think you've been duped and by Saturday night, it's abundantly obvious what they are doing - and everyone who is in their team are paid on commission so it's critical for them to convince you to buy.
Of course, by Sunday, when they have not reached their "quota", the mood definitely changes - they become quite "unattached". Wouldn't be surprised if their testimonials are paid for too!
Then, you try to get your money back - they simply refuse - that's it - they will not give your money back no matter how hard you try. They send you a form letter - likely because a lot of people ask for their money back - it is a TRUE RIP OFF!
In the end, the only person that is richer is Russ Whitney - they prey on people's desire to make their lives better - people who are already working hard for their money, are willing to get educated and pay for the privilege but, who in the end, are only poorer. The value is simply not there!
