I received a letter from the British Lotto Commission, stating that after a sucessful completion of the third category draws of the British Lotto, held at London England, we are pleased to inform you of the offical announcement today that you have emerged one of the winners of the British Lottery Commission, which is part of our promotional draws.
Then they say that participants were selected through a ballot system drawn from 8, 000, 000 names and addresses of individuals who previously signed for North American Sweepstakes as part of our international Promotions Program. Your name emerged as one of the winners and consequently won in the Third Category. You hereby awarded a lump sum pay out of USD $165, 000.00, which is the winning payout for third category winners. This is a total prize money of US $12, 000, 000.00.
Then it goes on to say that they have enclosed a check in the amount of $2, 800.00 for the tax and clearance fees. And I will receive a total of $162, 200.00. Well any human being knows that the taxes on that amount is going to be well over $2, 800.00! Come on!
Then I am to contact my agent Rachel Henson or Fred Simms of Rapid disbursment company, subsicidisry or British Lottery Commission, 2251 Royal Windsor Drive, Oakville Ontario L6J 7X8 Canada!

I have a friend that lives in Guntersville and asked him to see if there was even a company by that name, and go figure, NO COMPANY!
Ok so I know that this is some kind of scam. I mean come on Christmas is just around the corner, so who couldn't use some extra cash for the holidays! I call this company and poke them with several questions. Then I go to my bank with the letter and the check. They then take a copy of it, and come to find out that after you copy it, the check has VOID several times one it!
I even called the bank on the check to verify funds, and before I could even get the account number out she said the account number to me, and said it is fraud! So I call them back and tell me that it is not fake and they will send me a money order. So I play along with them! I still have not seen a money order! They are probably trying to find away to make a fake money order!
Then last week I have received something almost the same, and I am in the process of letting them know what a scam they have. It is almost the same phone number! There is the Bonanza 2000 Royal British Draws!
Be careful and really investigate this out! I just wish there was a way that I could get them into so much trouble and put then behind bars! That is where they all belong!
