When I initially received the letter stating that enclosed is a check that is to be used to cover the international fees, I called and spoke with Julia Parker.
She (Julia) confirmed that I had indeed won $85, 500.00 in a recent British Lottery with 16 other individuals in Asia, Africa, etc.
The check was for $2997.40, however when she asked me to confirm that the check was for $2994.45. I stated yes not having the check in hand.
I followed the directions, and when I called back a red flag went up when I called to confirm the process and provide the confirmation number.
I asked to speak with Julia, there was silence. After a few moments I said hello again and she answers again stating "how can I help you", I asked again to speak with Julia Parker and she said "Oh that's me."
By that time it was to late to get my money back. I tried calling back and the phone would just ring. Then the phone would only go to voicemail.
