Paid a verified merchant $550 through Alertpay's payment service. The merchant turned out to be fraudulent. The company could provide no way of returning any of my money because even though the merchant was verified and could receive an unlimited amount of money, his verified details were incorrect due to the company's poor verification procedures.
Alertpay promised to provide me more information on the merchant in order for me to pursue the matter but never did and eventually stopped responding to me. They have not even reimbursed my transaction fee and simply left the matter unresolved.
