I found a chiahuahua listed on puppyfind.com by RosemaryJohn and was interested in purchashing it for our first family pet. My kids have wanted a dog for the longest time and I finally agreed. I emailed the "sellers" got the information on the dog and decided to purchase it. I sent the money through western union and was promised that I would receive th dog by the following day via overnight shipment. I didn't hear from them again until the following day when they told me there was a problem with shipping the dog. I had already sent these people $500 plus $44 western union fee and he was asking for another $300 to get the dog through customs.
He said the total price for that was $600 and he only had $300 on him and wanted me to come up with the other $300. He requested I get back to ASAP with my response stating he had been at the airport all night. I advised him I could not send anymore money and at that point knew I was being scammed. I believe he is going by another name also listed on puppyfind there is another report on this site that is very similar to mine. The address I was given was 23 James St. in Toronto Canada and the spelling in his emails just didn't seem right. He is scamming alot of people and something needs to be done.. My whole family is very upset with this situation...
