I received my MBNA credit card bill and found a charge of over $100 with no explanation and for which I have no knowledge. Upon calling the company without any questioning by the agent he very quickly and politely offered to reverse the charge and any applicable fees, and gave me a confirmation number.
This quick action to me a customer service manager in a company is indicative of the company having too many such claims and thus are not worried about its financial implications which means that for every one that complains there are many that simply pay the bill no questions asked. This is fraud and they are willingly serding arbitrary charges to the credit company.
