I ansewered a advertisement stating that I could borrow up to $5, 000.00 on a unsecured note. I phoned the company who identified themselves as First Capitol Financial Group. I was informed that I needed to fill out a credit application and fax it to the loan officer. I was contacted shorty thereafter by a female identifying herself as Chantel Buchanan informing me that my loan was approved. ( This is where the scam begins)
I was told that before the loan could be processed and underwritten, I had to purchase disability insurance that would protect me and them if I became disabled, lost my job or did not repay the loan. The charge was $775.00 USD. I was then instucted to wire the money via Western Union and upon receipt the $5, 000.00 loan would be wired into my account. I sent the money Western Union payable to a Parparminder Assi.
Well it has been 21 days since this all has taken place and still no money in my account. I have contacted the proper authorities to get the message out so no one else falls for this scam. If you are credit challenged and a offer is made to you that sounds to good to be true. It probably is!
I will have a Web-Site up very soon to try to stop these crooks from praying on us or anyone else for that matter. Good Luck!
Its a Jungle out there.
