Tucows OpenSRS Rips Off Resellers With 3% Illegal Surcharge On Credit Cards. Dropped this company. They are charging 3% on All Visa & MC charges which is Illegal

I contacted the VISA, Mastercard people to confirm that they prohibit any surcharge added to any purchase that covers the costs a Merchant is charged when the Customer uses a credit card to pay. The people at VISA, Mastercard told me that all I need to do is contact my bank and I will get my money back. Business must be bad that Tucows has had to start charging a direct 3% fee for credit card use. Well I am going with Enom. And as far as Tucows/OpenSRS goes the company has gone down hill for years. Now the cash grab in the form a a silly surchage. Stay away from these bad dogs.
