I had signed up for several companies on line hoping to get an at home job-I am pregnant with my 3rd child and was hoping to be able to quit my full time away from home job. On July 6th I received a letter and a check in the mail, the check was for $4997 and had tasks on it.
I looked up the company on the BBB's and consumer complaints web site, found nothing. I looked up the bank online and called the toll free number to validate the check. I took the check to the bank on 7-9, they held it until 7-16, on the 17th I took out the money to do my tasks with. On Tuesday July 24th, the check came back fake and the bank took my entire life savings out from under me.
I had to get a loan just to make my account have a 0 balance and to pay both car payments, my student loan, my car insurance and my mortgage. I don't have enough money now to put food on the table for the next two weeks. We'll have to live on what we have, and I'm 8 months pregnant. These people have no morals and don't care who they rip off. I have contacted the FBI, the local police, the BBB, consumer complaints, western union and money gram. I feel that the bank should be partially responsible since they released the funds before the check actually cleared. If they would have taken their money back when the money was still there, I would have been out nothing.
They don't even seem like a scam, these people are good. Do Not get involved.
