I took my computer back to Primetime computers because the very first time I logged into my new laptop, it would shut down. The message I would get from the computer was that a driver was missing and not installed properly. So I took it back to the store it was purchased at. They called me and told me it would be $128.00. I said but it is under warranty. They said oh no... it was something you must have done to it because there was a virus on it. Hmmmmm... considering it was brand new, I thought it strange. So ok, they told me it was my doing and that it was a software problem of my own accord, I paid the $128.00. I get home, boot up my computer and voila... it shuts down again, all by its self. Back I go... they keep it for a longtime, when I go back in to check on it... they inform me that it is shipped to some other dealer to get fixed. Finally another week goes by and they call me to come get it. I pick it up and request that I get my $128.00 back because it was the driver not installed after all. The manager informs me that he put virus protection on my computer the first time thinking that was the problem and that I am not entitled to have my money back. I tried to explain to him that they didn't fix the problem by putting the "downloaded" free from the internet "spybot" software on my computer. Frustrated I went home. I tried to call the manager after speaking with my husband but he was never in. Finally when I did get to speak to him, he cursed at me... became very abusive and vulger, laughed at me and hung up. I want people to be aware of this companies business practices. STAY AWAY, THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU.
