I ordered a 2350 Inspiron computer in december 2002 for Can & 599.00 from Dell and sent them 3 post dated cheques which they cashed totalling C$694.30. In April they told me they had no record of the cheques so I had to send them photocopies of the cashed cheques front and back. I finally cancelled my order in early April. Their rep. told me they would return my money which they did after about 3 weeks and only after I called them every day and sent their rep and their president peter dell daily faxes asking about my refund, I never did hear from Mr. Peter Dell.

They never once confirmed receipt of my order by snail mail with postdated cheques attached but they sure were able to cash them as they became due. the final straw that broke the camels back was when they said my order was a us$ priced order and I would have to pay them another 300.00 $ Can. I took the information from a newspaper, the Vancouver Sun which is a Canadian Paper published in Vancouver, British columbia, Canada. I will now report their business practice to the BBB as well as the Canadian Customer Service Agency. I will never deal with Dell again or buy any of their products.
