Add this to the list of growing complaints against these scammers. I should have done my research!!!
I purchased an R4 chip for my Nintendo DS on May 13, 2010. I immediately received a confirmation email, and the following day, received another "processed" email, explaining my credit card had been charged (and it was). I was promised a "complete" email in the near future, which would confirm the order was shipped. Never received the "complete" email. I waited 3 weeks, and started sending emails, and used the web site's message form. I still didn't hear anything back. I sent three more emails to every @modchipstore email I could find, asking if they had any information on the status of my order... Nothing. Finally, after a month, I sent an email threatening disputing the charge with my credit card company, and reporting ModChipStore.com to the Canadian Better Business Bureau if I did not hear back within 24 hours. I patiently waited 72 hours, and still... NOTHING. So, I have filed a complaint with my Credit Card company, the Hamilton branch of Canada's BBB, and am hitting every online board I can find. These guys are SCAMMERS! Do NOT buy anything from them!
