Great Value Candy Tub Sliced my finge

I have recently bought a tub of Great Value Gummy Candy and as I was opening the container my finger was sliced. Kind of like a huge paper cut, its been bleeding on and off for two days and I am a little disgusted! What if it had been a young child opening the tub. Something needs to be done!
