Today I received a second check scam. The first from Premier Survey Inc. Both scams want me to send a money gram from a check they have sent me. Both companies use a legitamate company to draw the unauthorized checks on. Both companies are receiving the money in Canada and are using a 905 phone exchange.
I'm also receiving numerous calls from "home based" jobs. People trying to recruit me. Apparently all this started because I visited a web site referncing work from home. I was told from the last caller that I filled out an application (NO) and they traced me back through my IP address. Now they have my phone number, mailing address and name. The calls have been coming in like crazy and this, again is my second check scam letter.
I have contacted the legitimate companies on the checks. Unfortunately there has been a few foolish folks that have tried to cash these checks and run with the money. Arrests have been made. So do yourself a favor and check it out before you act
