Attempted Fraud & Theft by Fraud

I received a letter offering employment as a "mystery shopper", and a check for payment of services in the amount of $4985.00 drawn on the First Commercial Bank of Huntsville AL. The letter asks you to wire money to an address in Canada. I suspected that this was fradulent, and checked with the bank (which does exist) which confirmed that the check is not valid. I searched the WEB and found that others have received the same, or similar offers but the checks were drawn on different banks. If you should receive a similar offer with checks drawn on this bank, send all items, including the envelope to Nathan M Scott; First Commercial Bank; 4650 Whitesburg Dr; Huntsville, AL 35802.
