TDK And Costco
WON"T AKNOWLEDGE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT Windso

I purchased the TDK brand DVD R writable disks at Costco and since the packages hold 100 it took a while to realise that my disk would play just fine until near the end of the disk then they would start to stall out and eventually freeze all together. Almost every disk would do it so I tried to clean the burner and the player and even get firmware upgrades with no sucess. I wasted over half the spindle before I became aware. I even went and bought some no name brand and it worked just fine, not one was a problem. I contacted TDK who didn't believe me and told me if I sent them the disks at my expense they would test them and send me new ones if they were in fact bad. You know that shipping costs almost the same as the disks are worth and they would probably tell me that the disks were not defective so I didn't bother. I did also contact Costco to let them know what kind of product they are selling and to see if they would help me. That was weeks ago and they didn't have the courtesy to repy to my complaint.

That just shows you how much Costco cares about their members of which I am no longer one. I'm tired of purchasing merchandise that is more time then not defective then I need to go through hoops to try and get these problems recified. It's just not right. I will never buy TDK again or be a Costco member again. I can shop at other places like that if I want to be screwed. I just threw all my disks in the trash and that is that. All my files were wasted that can't be recovered and my money gone buying bad product.
I guess NOBODY CARES ABOUT CUSTOMERS ANYMORE.
