Consumer Direct Enterprises
Ripoff, sweepstakes fraud, scam, processing fee required (post stamped from Los Angeles California)

As in the other reports on this company, they send an official looking letter leading you to believe you have won a major prize in a sweepstakes from independent sponsors.

In Aug 2005, I sent money garanteeing to receive documents on how to get in on the BIG prize, and at the very least, a $1.00 prize to a maximum of $1, 000.00 (already won) with no payment neccessary.

The catch is when they ask you for a payment of $21.95 ($2.00 extra for faster processing) you will receive documents of how to actually receive the BIG prize, which is the amount they lead you to believe you have already won (read the letter carefully, the BIG prize you think you've won is not the one they are promising to send you). However, they won't even so much as send you the actual so-called prize ranging from $1.00 up to $1, 000.00.

The only ones getting money are the ones sending these processing reports. I'll be sending mine off (the portion I don't have to pay for, and see what happens, if they send another so-called prize verification, I'll let you all know)
