I would like to mention here that I was a tenant at above mentioned house from 01 Sep. 2010 to 28 Feb. 2011 and was paying monthly Enbridge gas charges bills coming in my name during that period.

My final bill for February 2011 from Enbridge was also including a 12 months heat protection plan charge from direct Energy a sum of $251.88 for the service which I had never requested / agreed nor I had signed any contract. This is also obvious how a tenant could request for a service for the next twelve months during last month of his stay at that house. Moreover responsibility for maintenance lies with the landlord not the tenant.

I had already talked to CSR of Direct Energy more then 3 times. regarding the matter, but the matter is not yet resolved. Enbridge has with held my security deposit and charging monthly interest on the remaining amount of Direct Energy bill. Action from from Direct Energy is still awaited.
