I had bought a $450 dress from Marla's in Mississauga. Upon which, there was no mention to me at the time of purchase that all purchases made at this shop was final sale. After the purchase was made, I read the note on the receipt saying Final sales will not be refunded or exchanged. Under the understanding of this note that only Final sale items were not refundable I took my purchase home. Later that week I found a place that sold the dress at a cheaper price of $180, so I decided to go back to the store to refund my dress under the assumption that my dress was not a final sale item since it was sold at regular price. The sales associates refused to refund my item claiming that my dress was final sale but throughout the store, there were no signs stating that all purchases were final and this message was also not verbally transmitted to us.
