ING Insurance Company Of ripoff, dishonest, charged more than was told, late, unfai

First Ing took at least 4 months before sending out the required papers and certificate. Than the amount I was charged for one years ins was absurd to the amount of approx $3500. I am a licensed drive in Ontario for over 20 years with no tickets and no at fault accidents. I am over age 50 and retired. Next they took two payments out of my account in one month without notification first and no explanation as to why an extra payments was taken. This was done to me more than once and cost me over $115. in overdraft costs at my bank.

I contacted my broker (Gabriel Insurance) who told me to bring him all paper work to prove this to which I did so. I was told I was not the only client he has that ING has done this too. He had a pile of files of people having the same problems as myself with ING.

He faxed the proper paper work to ING asking for the reimbursement of the overdraft charges caused by their mistake. I stil have not received anything from them regarding this. Than again a second payment was taken in one month putting my account in arrears once more without receiving notificatin first or an explanation as to why the extra payment was needed.

I feel that ING has treated me unfairly and are completely dishonest about what they charge people. They are extremely slow in dealing with their clients and in sending proper paper work out as well.

This insurance company is unfit to even be called an insurance company and also seem to be going out of their way to lose clients by charging more than they are supposed to and refusing to rectify any problems as well. Either that or they just can't be bothered at all and really do not care. Seems to me they are pocketing their clients money since no explanation has been given in the first place.

If they do not want to be in the automobile insurance business than they should just get out. And never come back. It makes one wonder if there are any honest insurance companies out there at all. When I phoned another insurance co. regarding rates for one year (Atto Insur) I was quoted a price of approx. $1200 a rate of $123. per month where ING is charging me approx $3500 a rate of approx $270 a month and than some.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS INSURANCE COMPANY. Due to the problems with them I am now shopping around to find a better more reputable and honest insurance company to deal with that will meet my needs properly.
