I'm sorry to report that I too am a victim of this internet fraud. I recently listed an automobile on www.autotrader.com. Within days, "Allan" from Great Cars and Trucks called me with their pitch. Against my better judgement and gut feeling, I signed up for their service. I was billed $165 and I never heard from them again. Future attempts to reach "Allan" were met by "co-workers" willing to take a message. No one ever called me back.
I've since received a call from "Darren" trying to again sell me their service. Ironically, his voice sounded exactly like "Allan's". When I accused him of trying to defraud me again under an alias, he became defensive and hung up.
Do not believe the rebuttals listed by their minions. These people are criminals and frauds. Attempts on my part to go after them through my credit card have been stymied by the fact that they are international. I've since had to close that account as I found frequent, small amounts debited from my account to international sources.
