I ordered an online document on GERDs for $19.95 US through this company's website a month ago. In the process of submitting the order a number of pages popped up asking if I agreed to many other items such as subscriptions at various costs which I did not wish to purchase. I selected "NO" at the bottom of each page but the site continued as if I had selected Yes. Within the next few days the bill for the original item showed up on my credit card and then another bill showed up for the those items which I did not want and did not purchase. I phoned the 1-800 number which was next to the billing only to be told there was no record of my purchase. I was then given a different number to call Barton Publishing directly. At this number I got a voice message giving the business hours. I then e-mailed the customer support for Barton publishing and received an apology and a promise they would refund the extra amount. Time will tell if this actually happens. I wish I had read all the reviews of this scam company before I submitted my credit card number to them.
