Sent letter stating I had won $250, 000 as well as a check for $4, 720. to pay the taxes on the winnings

Recieved letter stating that I had won a lotto prize of $250, 000. There was a check enclosed for $4720. to help pay the tax agent. I was to not cash the check until I had called them. Never called; decided to google company and I am glad I did because I was able to report the company here. I showed the letter to my husband who said to me that it is a scam and I said I know the letter was a scam and thought there would be no outlet for my frustration over these scam's. But I found this site.

Promotions Director is Sheila Harris

Just want another report for people to see that this is a scam. Do not fall for it because it looks legal. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Letter has some big names listed which I think could be bad news for these major companies.
