I received a letter from this company stating that I had won $45, 000 in a sweepstakes. the "Trust Company" had included a check for $3, 950 to cover the managment fees of the money I had won. It provided a phone number and an agent's name--Steven Harper. When I checked into the phone number, I found out it is an unlisted cell phone number out of Ontario and there is no comtec Financial Trust Service at the address listed in the letter. I also contacted the bank that the check came from. The bank is legit but the account number on the check does not exist at that bank. Basically it's just a big scam to try to get you to deposit the check, then the check doesn't clear and you owe that money back to your bank. Watch out!
