I was guaranteed at least a $2000 limit credit card with deposit of $199 made in 2 payments of $99.50. The payments were taken from my account with checks that the company had printed. When payment was made the company sent me a letter telling me to call this other 800 number and to not disclose any information about the original agreement. The new number is attached to Chase, who naturally was unaware of my agreement and I was denied any credit from them and they informed me that the original company has been doing this credit card scam to people for 8 months.
