Our client commenced litigation with respect to this publication in the British Columbia Supreme Court under action number 128865 in the court registry located in Kelowna, British Columbia. The court found this publication to be defamatory. On June 27, 2022, the court pronounced an order that rendered judgment in our clients’ favour and ordered the following injunction: “The defendants, Roger De Pellegrin and Barbara De Pellegrin, and other persons with knowledge of this Order, wherever they are located in the world, are restrained from publishing on the internet or in any other manner, statements directly or indirectly about the plaintiff, M.J. Matte & Associates and Maurice Matte, that are identical to or of similar effect as the publications contained in Schedule “A” attached to this Order.” The content of this publication is included in Schedule “A”.
