I have recently been in contact with Mr. Rhett Gates of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, who, according to his resume "graduated in the top 50 of his class" at S.A.I.T. According to our conversations he is currently enrolled in an MBA program and is a designated CMA (Certified Managerial Accountant). His resume is quite elaborate, stating that he is the CFO of a publicly traded oil and gas company, all at the young age of 31 years old.
After doing my own due diligence, and inquiring with both CMA Canada and the post secondary institution Mr. Gates told me he was currently enrolled with doing his MBA, I was informed that his credentials have been highly fabricated. In addition, I called his most recent employer, as detailed on his resume which he provided, and found out that they never even hear of him.
Please be aware that this man, who falsely advertises being a professional CMA for Gates' Financial Services is nothing more than a fraud. If you need reassurance, please contact CMA Canada or CMA Alberta and inquire about Rhett Gate's professional status.
