My husband recieved a letter from citi finical that he was aproved and able to recieve 5000 dollors so he went it and did this,
at this he basically locked himself in a rut with not just a 5000 dollor loan but the fact that some company H AND A for securtiy was billed onto the many other secretive costs to this loan and the rate at 35.9 percent, this is worse then a credit card,
our payout for one monnth costed 7757 for payout,
on top of a loan we signed thinking diffrent ended up being for a 2nd mtg lean on the house, for 35, 000 and combined with other payouts like the property tax and a utlitly bill all their bogus,
if we kept this for 5 years at 11 percent we would be paying more then 55, 000 out, if we pay early we have been penaltize and all there hiddents costs from 300, to another 300, to 600 all these secret costs add up, beware,
we thankfully are returning the money, including the extra money and riding all this bs at once,
but i caution everyone out there, always read fine print your better of getting aline of credit or loan from an actul bank at lower rate and are working with you not taking your money one at a time they are sneaky buggers this citi finical us canada overseas where ever, they were rude, they were trying to prove there side they did not want me at the age of 30 to be smart with numbers logical and most of all do my homework,
ask, ask, ask, find out details, i encourage everyone especially young people ask, all the time do your research read fine print, if it feels weird most likely it is,
after all its your money would you rather get taken in and owe more and more to someone else,
lesson learned, im still arguing it out with them they did not even want me to go to headquarters not providing me with information accurate i had to do all my research and in the end i still got burnt a few thousands,
not worth it!!!
they are very scandalous sceemish and so on,
