I received a letter yesterday, Dec. 6th, 2007, from Tridelta Financial Partners, Sponsors of Publishers Clearing House stating that I had won $48, 000.00 from a drawing that was held on June 17th of this year. Letter stated the following -
"Enclosed is a check for $4955.00 payable to you in order to facilitate the payment of international taxes and insurance fees, is to be deposited into your bank immediately. These fees must be paid before the balance of your prize money is remitted to you. This amount has been deducted from your total winnings.
Upon depositing the check, please contact your claims agent at 780-604-6779 at our head office for the processing and remittance of your prize money to a destination of your choice."
The letter further instructed me to keep my claim confidential until it had been processed to avoid double claiming or unwarranted abuse of this promothin.
My ticket number was 516-236-195 and would be deemed null & void if unclaimed after Dec. 15, 2007.
The check looked real, I called before depositing anything in my account and spoke with Nayba Young who stated she would be my claims coordinator. What tipped me off wat that she wanted not only that she wanted me to deposit this in my account but she also wanted me to then withdraw the money and go to Western Union with $4955.00 in CASH and call her when I got there so she could give me the name and address of who to send the money to!
Leonard Matheson is listed as Vice President of Tridelta Financial Partners and the check was #355461 drawn off of NSWC Federal Credit Union, PO Box 519, Dahigren. No other information.
Call you local police, your attorney general, Toronto police, Toronto media and your local media! These people have to be stopped!
