Faxes and requests go ignored and unanswered Ripoff

I am furious with JK Harris and can not get ANYWHERE with them on MULTIPLE issues. Back in November I met with a Sales Rep from JK Harris at a local office regarding a problem with taxes (and only taxes). He explained the program to me and it sounded ok, during the meeting he asked what my credit was like, I responded it was fine. He did mention that JK harris also had a financial recovery program to which I responded to him that I had no need nor want for that program. We settled on a $300 down payment with the rest of the down payment in a months time, and then 10 monthly payments after that for the services. I was to make the down payment by Debit card. When the sales rep was filling out the credit card receipt he had me sign one for $100. When I questioned this he said, oh, i am going to have you sign this one, I have to put them on two seperate slips, because that is just what I have to do. AT no time was it EXPLAINED to me that I was actually signing two contracts, one for tax services and a SEPERATE one for financial recovery. Two days later when I discovered I had been CONNED into signing a contract for the Financial recovery program I called JK Harris to advise them to cancel the contract and refund my money, I did not want nor need this service AND it was never explained to me that I was signing up for ANYTHING other than tax services. I was told that I needed to send a fax to the "Research and Oversight Department" at JK Harris, which I Immediately did. About a week later (end of November) I received a letter from the research and oversight department advising me they had received my fax and they would review my request and I would know in 30-45 days. However here it is Almost MARCH and I have Faxed them COUNTLESS times and no response at all!! NONE ZILCH!!! That is problem number one

Problem number two... NEVER was it explained to me that when I signed the contract, although I was signing the contract with JK Harris the monies would be withdrawn from my account by an affiliate of JK Harris, RAI Financial. At the time I signed the contract, I signed because I had received a letter from the IRS about thier intent to Garnish my paycheck, but it had not happened as of that point. The salesman I originally met with ASSURED me they would get working on it right away so that the garnishment never took place. My first payment was scheduled for January 1st. However in Mid December, the IRS did indeed start to garnish my wages. I called JK Harris and spoke with my case worker. He placed a call to the IRS, we gave them all kinds of financial information to get the garnishment stopped... but did it stop?? NO, it continued, and once again calls and faxes to JK Harris went completely unresponded to!!! The garnishment only stopped the end of January when I called the IRS by myself and set up a payment agreement with them all on my own!! During this time frame I also called JK Harris to stop the automatic payment of $256.00 from being withdrawn on January 1st because of the garnishment. I could not afford it, nor did I have the funds available. I was assured it would be taken care of... but guess what?? IT WAS Not!!! The $256.00 was withdrawn from my checking account and I did not have enought funds to cover it, in addition because that was withdrawn causing my account to overdraft it cause four other items to overdraft leaving me with five $34.00 overdraft fees assessed, for a total of $170.00, at a time when I was only allowed to keep $156.00 per week because of the garnishment. I Immediately called JK Harris to ask them to reverse this charge so I could try to keep my head above water, It was at this point I was told they have nothing to do with that???!!! I needed to call RAI. Which I did, and it's amazing, I was told they had nothing to do with refunds, I need to call JK Harris???!!! After Sending countless faxes and speaking to several different people, I was told to dispute this with my bank which I did, but it was denied!! I even got a letter from a manager from RAI that did state it was a miscommunication error, where JK Harris never informed RAI not to deduct the money. I have sent numerous faxes to JK HArris, my case Worker, RAI, and Research nand Development. IO have also Sent multiple faxes asking for ALL my contracts with JK Harris be cancelled due to these problems. So here I am no, end of February, after about 25 faxes to RAI and JK Harris, and nothing!! not even one response on ANYTHING!! Now, to top it all off, I am receiving collection calls from RAI!!!

Cancel ALL contracts with JK Harrtis and/or RAI Financial, and refund the $200.00 payment for the Financial recovery services I did not want, as well as the $256.00 charge that was withdrawn from my checking account and the $170.00 in overdraft fees I sustained because of an error on JK Harris' part!!!
