Transglobal called me offering me a credit card with a $2000.00 limit. After what I thought to be testing them by making the rep call me back 4 different times during the week and asking many questions, she assured me it was a CREDIT card I was paying a fee for. After struggling and borrowing money to get the money together to pay the fee and get it into the bank on time (with the plan the "so called" credit card would help me with tuition payments), about two and a half weeks later I received a plastic binder with a little catalogue inside with worthless items for sale and many sheets of paper with "directions" on using their service which in the end turned out to be impossible to contact.
From the first day of receiving the package, I called and complained and within 3 days or so, after requesting and being promised many call backs from managers, when I finally didn't receive a call back and tried calling them... it was nothing but a continuous ring on the other end and very soon afterward, meaning almost a week, the phone had a message playing saying the number was out of order or something similar to that effect.
I am very upset, broke and owe even more money now after this company put me in a deeper hole than I ever was. Please let me know if anyone has any info to get the money back. I already spoke with the Federal Trade Commission earlier and explained my story, but, I'm not just stopping there. I want these thieves to pay me my money back.
