In short, once they have your billing information, whether it be credit card or a bank account, they will continue to charge it whether you owe them money or not. They did it to me, but I look at all my statements carefully and notified my credit card company immediately that these weren't authorized. And when the credit card company tried to block them, Extreme did an end run around their 'blocks' and charged my card again! This despite the fact I let Extreme know numerous times in writing and on the phone that they had to stop. The only way to deny them access is to pay off the card and close the account, or go to your bank and get a few account number.
