Abusive Con Artists Deliver Empty Promises, Scammed, Fraud, Want to enter suit?

I also feel as though I was targeted due to income and being a medical professional. They obviously buy lists of high income earners and target them aggressively!! My first mistake is that I opened an extremely professional looking package sent to my work. Out of curiosity, I opened the package and decided to give them a call. Galerie Concorde. Worst decision I have ever made!!

Back in 2001, Nancy Harrison who was was very curteous and pleasant explained the process of what the company did. I was intrigued and wanted to have my money make money to diversify. After some research I decided to buy a Peter Max Portrait for $2300, appraised for $1200 more than what I paid. She promised that it was a sure thing that this painting was going to sell in 6 to 8 months!

Not intending on purchasing more. She called my work, my cell phone and would contact me everyday to convince me to purchase more artwork. She was very smooth, seemed well educated in her profession. At first I felt bad, but she tried to find weaknesses and kept on hammering on them. I'm passive to a certain extent but, she was pushing the envelope to the point of zero professionalism. She conned me into believing that the more of a series of similarities the more attractive these would sell and there was such an urgency to buy, buy, buy. If there is one thing I hate, it's when I get pressured to make instant decisions. I bought 2 more Peter Max's and then a Norman Rockwell in a 2 year period. Nothing was selling even though she assured me the market was healthy and the values were rising continuously.

I had had enough of Nancy Harrison. She was pathetic and now rude because I didn't have enough of 4 pieces in my porfolio!! She insulted my art investment sense and said I was extremely amature!!
Back in 2003, I demanded to change brokers and they gave me Harold Sendel. I listed all my paintings and wanted to be done with this company!!
Since then I've listened to hundreds of exuses as to why these art pieces won't sell because of whatever market conditions out there. Funny! It's been 7 years and no leads, I have been told that 3 of my paintings are in either first or second position and nothing, no phone calls, nothing.

My appraisals for my 4 paintings are valued at $23, 000 and I paid out over $14, 000. I understand that there are risks associated with every investment but to be 100% conned and cheated, I have immense anger. Somewhere out there there must be consumer protection acts that these guys have broken!! I would like to be involved in a class action suit against this company if there is one currently present!!! I love love to see this place closed down to due fraud. These people cannot continuously lie to provide sales to keep there business float. Where is there ethics and morale? If I can fight this with others I will but it's so bad I can't even give them away on Ebay. I come to grips and decided that this was a costly lesson learned!!! Never again.
