I came across gametesterguide.net while searching for ways to get into game testing. Since there was a "60-Day 100% Money Back Guarantee! " I decided to give it a shot as I figured I had nothing to lose. Wrong.
After getting access to the site I downloaded a 12 page 'guide' that included links to various places online where jobs were posted for major companies and a bunch of other links to make money playing games online or filling out surveys. I also gave my contact information so he could notify me when companies were looking to fill a position. After a month of no response and checking all of the links to find that all game tester positions were on-site and not work from home as he suggested, and with none of them offering pay anywhere near what was advertised, I figured I'd been had.
So, after sending two emails to him via the contact form on the website, and allowing a full week for a response from each, I still have yet to receive a response or a refund. I will be sending a third email to notify him that I have filed this report and if this is resolved, I will be posting an update.
So far, this looks like just another scam, so don't get sucked in like I did.
