Norm Young has also screwed me over and many other employees as well as Rancho Management; Strata Members too!
I was employed by Norm Young (Jentec Services) as a Head Concierge; and was that for a period of 2 years. I did my job very well and also did the best with the tools that were given to me by Norm Young; which wasn't much! Yes it is VERY true that Norm Young of Jentec has had 9-10 sites and then lost 4 if not 5 of those sites in just less than 1 year. This would look bad on any Manager's reputation. He would keep blaming Rancho Management and the Strata Members for his screw ups.
Norm Young manages a Concierge company and is hired by Rancho Management who in turn manages buildings developed by Concord Pacific. Now Norm keeps pointing the finger at certain Property Managers (employed by Rancho Mngt.) in paticular JOSEPH . Lots of the problems with the concierge company stem directly from Norm Young and his skills -Lack thereof.
The buildings and sites would have internet and computers for the concierge to utilize while on duty. Well Norm decided to install a program which sees everything those and all that use the computer. He can see passwords to bank accounts, passwords to emails, your whole bank account history etc. All done without the knowledge of his employees. You see he did not want the concierge spending too much time on the internet; which believe me is understandable. He did not inform the people before installing program and looking at very very personal information.
Yet his very own son was and possibly still is working at the same site I was Head Concierge at. His son could do no wrong; he could use the internet and play games on it, eat his food in plain site of the clients, on top of neglecting to do his job. I finally felt it was time to discipline him by writing him up for neglecting to do his job. When his Dad Norm Young was given the report on his son he lashed out at me blaming me for not doing my job. Ha ha funny really! I was the very one doing my job in trying to keep the staff in line for screwing up there duties themselves. I liked the job just not the boss I had. He made it miserable and hard to cope. Norm Young does not care one bit for the employees or the Strata Members or the Property Management company.
If he did he would not have lost good employees and Head Concierge's as well as 4-5 buildings in the process. I would come to him about some employees I had to work with and Norm just let the problems fester until the problems got so big that he had to be forced to do something.
Norm young took me into the office and said he was letting me go; firing me. After the shock wore off I asked for what? He replied "I don't need to tell you"!
I said yes you do, you can't just fire me without telling me why! I need to be able respond. I had no idea why I was fired except for possible retribution for writing his own son up. I figured this must be personal because I was never told why. On my ROE it stated "Dismissed"; go figure. Well at least I know and everyone else knows just what kind of person you are Norm. And well Steve was absolutely right!
This man is so incompetent before you know it your knee deep in CRAP!!
STAY AWAY IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU! TRUST ME!
