My mom received a letter that my father won the Pubisher clearing house lotto of $98, 000 and received a check for $2, 100 dollers made from beneficial saving bank. my mom called the number the letter she got called #1-403-397-5712.the number is from canada and a man answer the phone and she told them the letter she received and they told her to to deposit the check into the bank account and call them back when it clears and they will send the rest of the money .using western union or money gram.
i know this is a scam because my dad past way last year in 2006 and he never enter any sweepstake.i called my self and they had a very heavy accent they were speaking.they could not under stand them.
first they said something about reader's digest? i cant belive these people are scaming americans.people in the u.s.a. are receiving letters from reader.s digest and pubishers clearing house sweepstake winners fake letters.watch out america!!!
