I had similar experiece ordering things online through Canadapost. They left me a notice even before goods were actually not shipped by the shipper. In fact shipper just made shipment booking. The issue here is that canadian postal staff are so ill and poorly trained. Further after filing a complaint with their useless customer service i found that wrong excuse for not delivering goods: " receipient not a home" when I or my family members were at home all the 24*7 * 30 days being new in toronto city.
They made a false claim to evade the extra effort of bringing in 10 kgs of goods on higher floor, though elevators were available. They mishandled the delivery period and also made a wrong claim on later dates that receipient was not at home. Also most of canadian postal customer service is full of jokers who only believe what their computer system says, which was fed by a lazy and corrupt delivery staff.
Till today I have not got the packet.
I don't trust this CANADA POST and Canadian lies any more.
