JC Enterproses Advertising
JC Enterprises Advertising (, Ontario), Granton Marketing, DS Max, Cydcor Employment Scam, Ripoff Misleading Wording in want advertisement, false promises

I went to an interview with what I assume is a Canadian subsidiary of DS Max but I know hat they are definately under Granton Marketing - The Leader told me so.

This is an open letter to the management of JC Enterprise Advertising. Please do yourself a favor and re-consider your interview with them.

To the management of JC Enterprise Advertising

I cannot fathom how you can justify paying people NOTHING for over 12 hours of work a day. No benefits. No raises. Nothing unless they humiliate themselves by selling cheap products door-to-door. I was underemployed. 5 languages, a Bachelor's degree and a college diploma in business administration and working at a job below my potential. I get a call from a man telling me that he was in advertising and wanted to interview me. Of course I'm going to go. I dress in a nice suit, take the day off from my job where I had dental and medical and profit sharing, and proceed to an office in the lousiest neighbourhood of time. I answer all of the questions the way that I had learned how. I smile and shake hands and thank him for the opportunity to meet with the man. He tells me that they're interviewing 30 people that day and only calling back four. I get a call that night, and am asked to come back two days later. And then the "Day of O" (I heard that term later).

The young man sitting next to me once I got to the office had to get the boss to tie his necktie for him. I should have left then. I thought to myself, it's between me and this guy? You have to be kidding me. I knew that I was not a sap. I nearly walked out right there. At the very least, I was going to allow JC Enterprises (or whatever name you're going by this week in my area) PROVE me wrong. When Johnny-Whatshisface introduced himself as "The leader", warning bells went off. Had the poor girl that was driving us 60 miles up the road not been new and as skeptical as I was, I would have walked. You pay people not for their time and effort, but for how much cheap and useless product they manage to push. Even commission salespeople get benefits. You care not for the weather, or the wear and tear on people's vehicles, or even for the fact that on some days people make less than the day costs them; but for the bottom line, for your dream that is in your twisted minds idealist at best: mindless drones wearing their father's old suits trying to scrape by so that you can use deceptive wording and misleading promises to achieve 6-figure salaries.

Shame on you. I hope that one day you have to go through what you put people through each and every day and may you one day be working 12 hour days with no income and no benefits. Do the right thing and put your people first. They are the ones who pay your salaries and dream of a better life.

Sincerely,

S.

(Jessica F. - If you ever read this rebut and let me know how you're doing. It was nice meeting you.)
