It was a shock to learn that Robin Menard and her husband have been married for one year at the time of our "couples counselling" session last fall (2010) as Sol and Robin Menard were married in the summer of 2009. At this point, they haven't been married 2 years, they have been married for one year and a half. I wonder why and how people can be so terribly deceitful and egregious as Robin Menard specifically told my husband and myself that she had been married for over 2 years, which I realize not much different however it's deceitful nonetheless. Robin Menard is also NOT a Registered Clinical Social Worker as she claims on her website and in several communications to me.
Aside from the manner in which she lied about the length of time she has been married, claiming to be a Registered Clinical Social Worker when you are not poses serious concerns about Robin Menard's (AKA Roberta Menard, Robin Morgan) mental health. In my opinion, why claim to be something when you are not, it is delusional. Calling herself a "clinical social worker" - is this woman in reality, and we listened to this woman give us advice about honesty and marriage and healthy relationships and balance! We were fooled.
If you go to the BC College of Social Workers website you will discover there is a very significant difference between the titles "RSW" Registered Social Worker and "RCSW" Registered Clinical Social Worker that one may assume "Roberta Menard" AKA "Robin Menard" "Robin Morgan" is NOT a Registered Clinical Social Worker as she claims on her A Path of Heart Counselling website. https://www.apathofheart.com/about_robin.php
Under the name Roberta Menard, she is a recent RSW. For some reason, Robin Menard is confused about her name and her professional title as she is listed as a RSW under "Roberta Menard" yet uses "Robin Menard" under RCC and everywhere else including on her counselling website. This is highly irregular and deceitful as how is a consumer suppose to know what name to choose from in order to verify her claimed credentials.
In closing, it also turns out that she has not worked as a "Clinical Therapist" at Crossroads for 2 years but worked there as a "social worker" for just over one year. Robin Menard is NOT a "Clinical Therapist." Robin Menard has been using both of the RSW and RCSW titles for several months including when she was not registered at all. Robin is currently listed on her website as a "Registered Clinical Social Worker" and she is not a Registered Clinical Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers, it is my understanding this is illegal - because as noted above, there is a lot more involved to become a RCSW.
We are disappointed and feel that Mrs. Menard ought to get her own life in order and straight, at the very least learn how to get your name and credentials straight and perhaps be married for longer than one year before attempting to "counsel" others.
