I received a letter claiming I won a large sum of money. Falsified information. Toronto

I was checking this out to see if it was legitimate as a check for $4, 980 isn't something you get everyday. Especially since I hadn't entered any sweepstakes. The check is from A.O. Reed & CO. and is pulled from a bank called " Bank Of The West " in San Diego, CA. I'm sure these companies aren't aware of these checks. A.O. Reed & Co. is a true company out of San Diego. This is truely unfair and is taking advantage of people.
