I recieved a letter from WestStar Shoppers Information Co. enclosed was a check for $3980.00. In the letter it told me what to use the check for and what my 'job' was. I thought it was alittle strange and was nervous about cashing my check because I have heard of other scams that involve checks being cashed and then they bounce. Plus as I was reading the letter it told me $130.00 was my pay, $3350.00 was a moneygram/western union I was to send to one of their 'training agents' in a different location to be specified by my assignment coordinator. That is the part that confused me. Why over $3000 just to learn how to send a moneygram/western union. I decided to check them out on the internet. come to find out there is no website. What did come up was this websight. Thanks to this web site I outsmarted the scam and am writing this report in hopes that other people will do the same and not fall for this.
