I got a check in the mail today addressed to me from Cooper Standard. The Check had no company info and the bank was Wells Fargo Bank, NA. The check was for 4, 875.00 and was signed by a David M (something). It looked very legit, accept when I photo copied it to check for a VOID written across it there was none. The check was obviously a fraud. It accompanied a letter from CSA stating I was chosen to participate in a Secret Shopper survey identified as a Western Union survey. I was to cash the check and sent 3800.00 via Western Union to a Gamaliel Osoria in St John, New Brunswick Canada. Great news, I got to keep 800.00 for myself as part of my "training pay" and the payment for completing the survey. There was even reference to money laundering and fraud (Under the "employment act" section 15..lol) written in the letter. The letter was signed by David H Sullivan "Human Resources Manager"... I did not think twice about this being a scam and found this website right away to report them. I shredded the check and hope anybody that gets anything from these people does the same.
