I received in the mail a letter from Prudent Securities, Inc. I called the telephone number listed on the letter. I was informed that I am one of the declared winners of North American Sweepstakes Lottery held on January 10, 2009 in the 2nd category. He asked if I shopped at any of these stores in the last 3 months: Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, or K mart because that is how my name was targeted through a random computer ballot system. I was told to deposit the $4875 check into the bank and to call this company once this transaction has been completed.
As it stands, I have no intention of depositing the check or calling the company back. I am providing this information in case anyone else has seen this.
