The above named company, registered as 578047 B.C. Ltd., recently carried out a furnace repair for my 85 year old father-in-law residing in Aldergrove, and I feel the charges were excessive. They visited the mobile home on Feb 13th, and did not fix the problem. They charged $121.90 for this visit. He called them 20 minutes after they left reporting that the furnace was still not working, and they returned again three days later.
On the second visit they replaced a valve and a thermocouple. They did not have the valve in their truck so they had to go to get one. They charged for their time away, and the total bill for the second visit was $552.00. ($200 labour, and $352 for parts)
So my father-in-law paid a total of $673.90 for this repair. I feel this is not in line with normal repair charges of this type.
Do you have any similar outstanding complaints against this company? I called to talk this over with the business owner today, but he was aggressive and unwilling to amend the charges.
