I was sent a check for $4875 and told to cash it & then sent them a Money Order for taxes Toronto Ontario

I was sent a check for $4875 and told to cash it. Upon cashing it the man on the phone stated that I needed to call him back so he could give me additional information. He wanted me to send him a Money Order for $2875 for taxes. Please don't be fooled, this is a scam!
