I recieved a letter informing me that I was a declared winner of LOTTO NORTH AMERICAN SWEEPSTAKES LOTTERY! As anyone would be I was excited, but then I thought about it, I had not registered for something with this name. So I thought I'd investigate it before getting too excited!
This letter looks Official and the check looks Very Real! Do not be taken in by this scam. Thank God, this day & age we have the internet to check things like this. the First Check is for $ 4875.00. They tell you to send them $2875.00 to pay for your government taxes and then you will recieve the rest.
I aclled the number of the so-called Claims/ Disburement Agent Mr. Jeffrey Patterson, the person who I spoke with could not speak any English. OK A big red Flag went up. I called the police department and they are going to help take care of it from here!
I really hope they catch these people so that no one gets RIpped Off anymore.
