My husband received a check for $4375.89 along with a letter stating he had a sweepstakes sponsored by a group of multi-national companies in North America. It stated he had won $180, 000 USD .

Out of the $4375.89 we would be using $2800.00 for applicable surcharges and government taxes due. The letter stated not to attempt to cash the check until I had contacted Cynthia Lin @647-869-2165. The letter was signed by Sharon Whitfield, Client Care Manager.

I immediately called my aunt who is Chief of Security at a local bank. I will be bringing the check and letter to her and she will contact the company for me.
