I received a letter from Fidelity Financial Services Inc. stating that there was a lottery sweepstakes done this past April and I was one of the winners and would receive the amount of $125, 000. It stated that they have tried many attempts to reach me to claim the money. So finally I called in, and the person who I was speaking to sounded like he was from India or somewhere in those parts. He explained to me that I was a winner because I did a lot of shopping in Wal-mart and was a value customer. I agreed to deposit the check in my bank account. I called back and asked if I should wait till the check was cleared and the man told be it should be cleared by now (this was within the two days), and was given a few names of people to send the amount of $2, 875 because they were the agents that would have taken care of Government Taxes from the winnings. In a couple of days the bank has credited me the amount of $4875 because I have been with them for so long, they didn't need to wait for the check to be cleared and I took the $2875 and went to Western Union like it indicated in the letter to send the money to these individuals. I went back to my bank and came to find out the check was returned. So right now I don't know if I have to pay that money to the bank, I am working things out with them, but not sure what the out come can be with this lies.
